1. Information service

Status387 is an independent information service that collects publicly published power and water outage notices and shows them in a single view. The service is informational in nature.

2. No guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness

Data comes from public sources and may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, changed or removed. We do not guarantee that the information will be accurate, complete, timely or available at any given moment. Coverage depends on the availability of public data and does not necessarily include every source.

3. The official source takes precedence

If there is any difference between information on Status387 and information published by the responsible utility or another official source, the official source takes precedence. Always confirm critical information with the original provider.

4. Not for emergencies

Status387 is not an emergency service and should not be used to report faults, hazards or other emergencies. In an emergency, contact the responsible utility or the emergency services.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the service in accordance with the law and these terms.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, data or accounts.
  • Do not disrupt the service, place excessive automated load on it or bypass security measures.
  • Do not use the service to spread malicious content or to mislead others.
  • Do not present altered or false information as if it came from Status387.

We may restrict or suspend access to the service where there is abuse or a breach of these terms.

6. Availability and changes to the service

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, limit or temporarily suspend it, in whole or in part, for maintenance, security or development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the availability of every feature, particularly those still in preparation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Status387 and the people who build it are not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the service or from reliance on the information shown, including missed deadlines, interruptions or material loss. Liability is not limited where such a limitation is prohibited by law.
